Our Woodstock, GA Wheel and Tire Services Include...

  • Tire replacement
  • Tire pressure check and adjustment
  • Tire rotation
  • Wheel and tire balancing
  • Wheel and tire alignment

We expect a lot from our tires and often take them for granted. They need to maintain traction in all weather conditions, roll smooth all the time and hold air pressure. You don’t have to know anything about tires when you bring your car to Greer Automotive Services, our experts will help you decide on the necessary tire services for your vehicle. We work only with high-quality products from top tire manufacturers, such as Michelin, Cooper Tires, Bridgestone, Goodyear and many others.

How Often Should I Replace My Tires?

On average, tires last 35,000 to 45,000 miles. Braking, traction control and handling get compromised as the tires wear out. If you are not sure whether you need new tires, stop by and let us check your tires. Alternatively, you can do a quick penny test. Take a penny, flip it so that Lincoln is facing you and his head is facing down, push it into the tire tread at the thinnest area, and if you can still see Abe’s head you might need new tires. All tires also have wear indicators inside the tread that look like a little bump. If the wear indicator is close to or almost level with the outer tire surface, it’s time for new tires.

Tire Maintenance Saves Money

Tire maintenance can save you money by ensuring more fuel-efficient driving. With worn tires, poorly inflated or imbalanced tires, you are likely to have the engine work harder to maintain the speeds you require. For the most fuel-efficient and safe driving:

  • Check tire pressure monthly
  • Check suspensions and steering components every 3,000 miles
  • Rotate tires every other oil change
  • Rotate tire and road force balance every 15,000 miles
  • Check alignment and make an adjustment if needed every 15,000 miles
